David Madié, chairman of the board
An entrepreneur in every sense of the word, David Madie is currently co-founder and director of Startup Company, which trains and develops entrepreneurs and start-ups in all stages of their company life cycle. Mr. Madie was an entrepreneur in the early days of Internet, and took part in founding a number of companies in the field of IT and education, including NetGuide, Edu, Netsurferschool, and EduGame.
His entire career has been occupied with developing new business concepts and building infrastructure to support business start-ups. His companies have been used as case studies in several Danish books about networking and learning organisations.
David has a M.Sc. in Economics and Business Administration, supplemented by studies in Information Management at the University of Groningen in Holland. In 2002 the World Economic Forum selected David Madié as one of 100 Global Leaders of Tomorrow, who have demonstrated responsible leadership and commitment in addressing issues such as society, the environment and socially responsible business.
Jonas Egebart, M.D.
Medical Doctor, CEO
Jonas Egebart is a medical doctor who has worked with healthcare technology and quality improvement in hospitals for over seven years. Dr. Egebart has participated in two Joint Commission Quality Accreditations at the Copenhagen University Hospital, where he presented on the hospital technology vision for surveyors. He has also worked with implementing hospital procedure and manuals document handling, along with intranet and clinical databases.
Dr. Egebart specialises in the organisational view of eHealth implementation. He continually seeks to ensure that IT is efficient and that the best technology is used.
